Below, I'll share my secret recipe for crucian carp and tongcao soup . It's simple to make, nourishing, and helps mothers promote lactation, warm the body, and reduce edema. It's perfect for busy new parents who need to maintain their health!
Crucian carp and tongcao soup recipe
Material:
- 1 crucian carp
- 10 grams of Tetrapanax papyriferus
- 10 grams of ginger
- A pinch of salt
practice:
- Wash the crucian carp and rinse the tetrapanax papyriferus with clean water.
- Pan-fry the crucian carp until both sides are slightly golden brown;
- Place the crucian carp, tetrapanax papyriferus, and ginger slices in a pot, and add 1.5-2 liters of water;
- Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add a pinch of salt to taste and it's ready to enjoy.
Tip:
- Tetrapanax papyriferus has the effects of clearing heat, promoting diuresis, and stimulating lactation, but it is not suitable for pregnant women.
- Mothers can add other ingredients, such as red dates, codonopsis, and Chinese yam , depending on their constitution, to enhance the effect of replenishing qi and blood.
